Can't play with existing households on Sims 4

Can't or play any of my other households on Sims 4. Anytime I try to see any of my households, it requires me to move them into a residential world that I don't have. I don't have any mods or anything on my game so I don't know what the issue is. The first time I had this issue it resolved itself after 2 weeks but I don't see the point in paying for a game that I can't play.
@lysminelli Have you tried repairing the game through Origin ?
