Can't play Sims 4. All households will not load

Okay, so by this point I am more than a little frustrated. Yesterday the Sims 4 was working fine and today it wont let me play it. I go to click the Sims 4 icon and it looks like it might load but stops within asecond or two. It doesn't recognise the game as installed so I can't uninstall it but when I put the disk in, it thinks it's already installed even though I am not able to get on. Not sure what to do next but I have been working on this for a while and am about done with it all. So glad I payed over $50.00 for a game that wont even play at this point, Any help would be appreciated.

Does it still properly show up in myGames on the Origin client ? Can you click play there ?
