Can't login to Origin!!!

I bought the Sims 4 today and it's telling me that I have to login online but I am online.!? Also my "use Proxy" box is not checked (control panel, etc.) can you please help.?? I'm really excited about this game...

I've moved your thread from the Battlefield 4 forum into here, the The Sims 4 forum. Please make sure you post questions in the correct location.

Now, if your internet is working you should not worry about the "use proxy" box.

If you start Origin you will have to login to your Origin account, if you get a box telling you errors can you please take a screenshot of it?

Can you try restarting Origin as an administrator then try to launch the game from My Games again?

Do you have any online-only games installed that you can use to test for a working connection?
