Can't link The sims 4 to origin account

so i bought my sister The sims 4 for birthday and when she tried to run it origin installed and then it said ERROR try relaunching your game to continue linking your account i dont know where is the problem.she never had sims on the computer so it dont have any cache.

@GoGicz5  Try restarting the computer; sometimes it really is that simple.

Otherwise, where did you buy the game, and did you get a disc or just a digital download code?  Does your sister have an admin user account on this computer?  If she has a third-party antivirus installed, try disabling it temporarily, at least long enough to test.  Setting exceptions for Origin and the game is often not sufficient.
