Can’t click on anything without pressing the volume button

★★★★ Newbie

On my computer I have a monitor so it’s hooked up to a windows computer. I log into my origin account, I updated the Sims to the newest version, and I hit play, and it wasn’t doing anything, I could hear the music but it was still on the Maxis page, the music was to loud so I pressed the volume keys on my windows computer to turn it down, and then the video started. Everytime I want to click something like “play” I have to press one of the volume buttons on my Windows computer before so that I can click. I have no clue why this is happening, it’s not any other key. None of the other keys work but the volume keys. If this has happened to anyone or anyone knows how to fix it please help cus it’s so annoying!

Can you open origin, and see if you can scan the sims 4 for errors? If you can't scan it then maybe plug some headphones in?
