Can't choose new aspriations.

So I downloaded the Get to Work expansion pack and i have gotten everything, the world, the sim stuff and the build mode stuff...but i can't choose the aspirations for Detective, Scientist, Retail Owner or Hospital. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong and how to fix it??

Are you running the tutorial? If so these are not available there. If that is the case then after the Tutorial ends you can change careers or start a new game and skip the tutorial.
