Can't Update Can't Play

When I launch Sims 4 Origin comes up and prompts me to update so I can play. I click Update and the window closes. I've rebooted.

My game is not hacked or modified in anyway.

I play on a PC with plenty of free space.

I have multiple EP and Stuff packs 

Game was fine earlier this month.

Is there a way to run a repair on origin or the game itself??

@Daethian I had the same issue. My solution was to simply open Origin (origin.exe). The update started automatically and everything went fine.
