Letter W shows on Loading Screen/ Can't load game [ Edited ]

Just updated to the new patch on 4/7/20 from Origin, game loads to home screen, but when I go to play it seems to load for about 5 seconds and then crashes. For both loading screens before the home screen, and to play, it looks like the attached image.

HI @bina_incog 

Start by repairing the game through Origin.
1. Close the game
2. Right-Click on the game in Origin
3. Hit Repair game.

Could you also post a picture how that looks ?

EDIT: If you have this issue in the Gallery, then you need to update the UI Cheat Extension Mod. There's a current version available.

@MKartman2019  Please move your entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop.  When you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content.  Don't add anything to that folder yet; just see whether you can start a new save and play for a bit.  Let me know either way.

If you can't load the game even with a clean folder in place, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

I also have his issue with the exact same image appearing. I removed the sims 4 folder from my Electronic Arts folder in documents and it is still crashing after I hit play.

Hello! 

I just recently updated my Sims 4 game on April 10, 2020. The last time I played it was April 2nd and it was perfectly fine. aAfter I updated the game, the loading screen began to show the phrase “Loading Tips Here...” with 3 Ws stacked on top of each other under it. there is also a random blue bar in the corner. When I load my game, the home screen doesn’t show any of the expansion pack previews except for a blue box under each one with 3 Ws once again. I didn’t recently download anything so I don’t think it was a

CC error or anything. Any help?

I am having the exact same problem.

And I can not repair as you suggest. The repair option is blank.

But I will attach some pictures of the issue.

Hi! Really weird issue since updating. 

I can open the gate and it will go to the main page; i.e. new game / load game. But - no matter what option I choose, the load page then shows the attached image for around 15 seconds and then crashes.

It's odd and i have searched high and low for a fix. Have tried the whole move the folder to desktop and change save location, but it won't work. Really weird and annoying whilst in lockdown!!
