Sims 4 already running

I just tried all of those and it's still saying the game is still running

Does Error code: de4ee14f:29f00e76:00000000:4b0d852b (Sims 4 is already running error) also go along with this issue? My daughter and I've been playing the Sims 4 for years and it's never done this until the most recent update.

We've tried;

- Repair through Origin

- Un-installing and re-installing both Origin and Sims 4

- Clearing all CC, mods, cache

- Looking through task manager and cancelling any tasks related to Origin and EA

Nothing has worked so far.

When I try and open sims 4 I get this code [ed35e0ea:29f00e76:00000000:181dd51], it says that sims 4 is running in the background, when it is not. No CC only mod is MCCC. Restarted computer, deleted the sims, than reinstalled it, deleted Orgin than reinstalled it.  Been like that since Novermber 10th.

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Get To Work, Dine Out, Cats and Dogs, Get Together, Island Living, Discovery University, Spa Day, Tiny Living, Bowling, Fitness, Toddler Stuff, Kitchen stuff
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try and open the game
What happens when the bug occurs? Sims 4 will not open, The message says unable to start the sims 4 is already running, followed by [ed35e0ea:29f00e76:00000000:18a1dd51] The game will also not repair you get another message saying failed.
What do you expect to see? I would like to see my game open, so I can play.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. I updated my game for the 1.67.45.1020 patch on November 10 2020

Since the November 10th update my game has been unable to open. I have deleted sims 4 and reinstalled and even did the same to Orgin and still am not able to play.

@crinrict Mircosoft Defender, It's the default security software for windows 10 and I didn't install any anti virus things either
