It has been said in earlier posts that the broken doors and windows are probably caused by the latest update which allows you to stack windows.
Some CC creators are updating their "mods" so they can work, some others are waiting to see if S4S can create a batch fix to fix the issue.
Deleting and downloading again won't fix your issue, we just have to be patient and see if either the sims team or s4s studio can fix it

That's because a Windows Restore Point is not working this way.
You brought back the Registry settings and the content of the Documents/EA folder, but the already patched system files are still in your game folder.
To roll back to an earlier game version you would need a full backup of your game folder under "Program files" (Or where you installed the game.)
It always will be a hassle if you try to get back, make the necessary settings now, so you can decide to whether or not to update the next time.
As said, a mandatory Origin update will not change your game files.
