CAS works fine, but can't play game??

I can make sims, but when I try to load a household I made, it just loads FOREVER. like I waited an hour... It's not gonna load. I can click in the normal places I would click if I was playing the game, but I see the loading screen. I have a ton of CC (I downloaded some people's mod folder since I just got the game on my new laptop and didn't wanna find my old CC) do I have to much? is it because im not in laptop mode? im on a macbook pro if that helps.

also, trying to load the game makes my laptop incredibly hot.

HI @Vexsterisk

looks like your using an incompatible mod. You need to makes sure your mods are always up-to-date with the current patch level or they can break your game

First try removing everything to determine if it's your cc or not.
