Buttons don't appear on create a sim

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? I have custom content but I do not think that is a problem.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Don't really know
What happens when the bug occurs? Only the sim shows whenever I click create new game and none of the buttons show up and even though I know where they are whenever I click them they don't work. Also whenever I click, my mouse pointer thing becomes a white square.
What do you expect to see? Buttons.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

Please remove your mods and try without. Sounds like a cc issue
