Build Windows are not letting in light (mac)

I recently purchased the Sims 4 and thought it keeps crashing that is not my main problem at the moment. When I build a house and place windows on it, the windows look painted on. They're not letting in any light and don't look like glass at all. They also won't let you see through them however the glass on doors work perfectly fine. (The graphics are on high. My computer and game are both updated)

This is a known issue connected to laptop mode.
