At work but not... bug?

I was just hanging out at the nightclub with one of my sims when my other sim, the one supposed to be at work, also turned up for a good time. It wouldn't let me select her or control her, just watch as she was supposedly getting tired from work yet was drinking cocktail after cocktail at the bar. 

Just notifying you here since I can't find a "report bug" function. Likely, the little devil is right under my nose and I just can't see it.
