All game music stuck on 0.25 playback speed [ Edited ]

As the title says, all my game music including title screen is playing at like .. half speed.

This includes sound effects like clicking on menu items. 

The sound also plays distorted and sounds like muffled mono vs stereo. 

Pulled my mods folder out and tried again with same results. 

I have also tried playing with sound settings and nothing changes. 

Everything was fine on the 6th when I played last, tried to play today and now the all sound and music is messed up.

Ok .. seems to have been an issue with bluetooth wireless headphone drivers. 

Did a reinstall and the problem has gone away. Weird how it only affected sims though.
