I purchased my own version of the sims during a digital Origin sale and only got a serial number. When I registered for the Sims' site orginally, it never worked to unlock and register my game on the site. Later, I got another one through a Humble Bundle sale and got an actual game key. I used that key to fininally register for the Sims' site. But, since I legally have 2 games, I wanted to give one to my sister to register. How can I get another key to replace the one that doesn't register?
Thanks!

What happens when your sister tries to enter the code that doesn't work?

Sorry clicked "choose as answer" by mistake.
She installed it with no problem. I think she just downloaded it from my account, though. I can't remember where in the installation process that you had to enter the number.

I revoked the solution for you. For next time, you can do it yourself by clicking on the options menu of the post and choosing: not the solution
I think it's best to contact a game advisor. They can check if it really never registered
Game advisors can be found through live chat.
