Hi There,
Yesterday I purchased a hard copy of Dragon Valley & Monte Vista from JB Hi-Fi. I had trouble installing both, after the second try, Monte Vista did something no other expansion packs did before - downloaded a 200mb file from The Sims 3 Game Launcher. Odd, but it works now. Strange that this is required even though I own a hard copy of the disk.
ANYWAY:
With Dragon Valley, I tried installing it several times, and every time I opened the Launcher it would ask for the 16 digit key that is familiar to all Sims 3 users - every time I entered it, it came up as being invalid.
Why would it be doing this with a brand new copy of the game?

I have never used Origin prior to needing advice on this issue.
I didn't even know that it was a thing.
Chat Now was not an option. It came up with Ask Now and directed me to this forum.

din't mind about the origin a the moment some people have an origin account too (which by the way if you ever do get an origin account it uses the same email and password as your the sims 3 ) and they redeemed the world codes in origin instead of the sims 3 account instructions in the FAQ on how to redeem he codes in your the sims 3 account in the link above also scroll down to the bottom of the page for the contact us also if you live outside the US change the flag at the top of the help page to US
