working mods but folder missing

i run the sims 4 on the mac. recently, ive noticed i cant find my mods folder anywhere on my computer or the mods themselves. ive searched through all my downloads and such, and no trace of them. when i launch my game, theyre there and working fine. i deleted my game and reinstalled in through origin, just to have the mods start up list pop up again. any idea how to delete them off the game?

Have you looked in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4?

Ok. Launch your game and click Load Game on the main screen then hover your mouse over the little folder icon under the selected household. You should see the option to copy the save location to the clipboard:

Could you copy and paste the location here? Because wherever your saves are stored, your Mods should be there too.
