why wont my sims 3 open on mac?

I downloaded sims 3 through origin, i also downloaded supernatural, outdoor stuff, and seasons.every time i try to launch, the error pops up with "Unknown error occurred". It pops up with the seasons logo, can i undownload it? someone help.
