Hey everyone!
I really appreciate you all sharing the latest info with each other and keeping your fellow Simmers up to date - thank you for that!
But I'd also like to remind you all to be kind to each other in this space and keep things like trolling/baiting/flaming out of our conversations.
Just remember that, ultimately, we are all in the same position, i.e. eagerly waiting for news the 64-bit and Metal version of The Sims 3, and just want to play our favourite game.
So let's focus on the good vibes while we are all patiently waiting and on sharing the good stuff!
Thank you all!

Does anyone know if the new 64 bit version will be able to be played on Macs with Intel Iris graphics?

Seem all the thread (I lie, only pages 1-10 and 38) as still no solution for Catalina, and even EA staff say as a workaround use bootcamp and Windows 10
The Sims 3 and all packs (Windows version) are free for owners of The Sims 3 and packs (Mac version)?

@leo3487 The Windows and Mac versions of the game count as one edition in terms of ownership: you buy one copy and have the right to install in both operating systems. So if the game is in your Origin library, you can download it for free into either OS; Origin will automatically install the correct version.
The new Mac version, when it eventually gets released, will also be available for free to anyone who already owns the game.
