the sims 3 (64-bit & metal) release

@MaxisJoe The game installed and finalized properly for me, along with some of the expansion packs, but not all of them. Is there not support for all of the expansion packs yet, or is this just a problem on my end?

I think it's a problem on your end, I was able to install them all. Did you look at the entire list of your EPs? Because mine are doubled, half say Unlocked and Details, and the other half says Download (Finalizing when I have them installed).

@juberthelot I see that too. But does "unlocked" mean it installed? Because it doesn't look like they did to me, and there doesn't appear to be a way to download them.

@juberthelot For me, some of them have installed & some have not. Mainly stuff packs have not yet given me the option to install them.

As I understand it, Unlocked doesnt mean installed, I think Unlocked refers to you having bought the game (regular PC or Mac version), I know Origin is having difficulty enabling the EPs to show their new version (the one that would say Download / Finalizing) Some people have been able to call EA Support and ask for help, for many, that worked.

@juberthelot Also, I keep getting this error message when I try to play the game:

"Unable to start game

Your The Sims 3 Base Game is incompatible with the current Sims 3 Expansion Pack. Please update your game via the game launcher."

@Simolionshane And that's before or after accessing the launcher? (I mean, do you have access to the launcher?)
