the sims 3 (64-bit & metal) release

@MaxisJoe So the 32-bit version opens and loads fine. I'm actually running Mojave (not High Sierra) on a Late 2013 Macbook Pro, are my specs too below minimum to run the 64-bit version then?

I’m having two main issues, .sims3pack files won’t install. If it’s from the store, it comes up with an error downloading it onto the launcher. And CC, when I try and install that it comes up with critical system error.

Is anyone else having these issues? And is there a way it can be fixed or would we have to wait for a patch of some kind

I downloaded and installed TS3 64bit and besides some annoying random game crashes, it's playable. My only problem is: terrain paint. If I try to paint my lot, it is not possible to do so for some reason. Is anybody else experiencing this and has discovered a fix?

@Dorabella123 I tried everything in that post and still no luck, it’s weird cause everything was working perfectly fine then my game crashed and removed my store content, and when I tried to download everything back, the errors came up

I feel for you.  I have been doing something similar though only recreating the Sims 3 folder rather than reinstalling.  I get awfully confused though because I end up with several and don't know where I am.

Anyone having trouble with game crashing after hitting on launcher with sims 3 packs installed?? It was working yesterday but i had done an uninstall from them with the exact same cc as used before and now its crashing
