@sflengasIf that is the error that says "Unable to start game. Your The Sims 3 Base Game is incompatible with the current Sims 3 expansion Pack", I had the same error. It turns out I still had a "The Sims" directory in my Electronic Arts directory that was from the old 32-bit version of the game. I moved it to the desktop and renamed it, then relaunched, and I didn't get that error again.
Sorry Im dumb, im having the same issue but can you explain a little more what you mean? like what is a directory
A directory is a folder. A place where files are kept. Does that help?
Hi, I've never used the forums before but I'm really excited to play sims 3 again on my mac. I've noticed that some people are able to start playing. Are we all still waiting on the installation verification issue to get fixed?
I contacted support and they said they are aware of the issue and are trying to fix it. Do you know why its not showing up in my Origins account? They couldn't give me a reason to what the problem is?
Thanks for answering! Do you know if it's something we can expect to be fixed today or should I go ahead and move onto something else because i've been kind of sitting around excited for it all day lol.
They're definitely working on it, but I don't think it'll be solved so quickly. It's probably best to forget about it for now haha
