same. But, I don't think my rep's English was the best. He/she seemed to misunderstand me a lot. For the whole first half of our conversation, it turns out the rep thought my problem was totally different than it actually was.

@blondebread So I recreated it and confirmed the game starts - it does. I then closed it and copied my saves back in again, they’re all good!

Totally new to this thread and haven't combed through all the replies, but does anyone else have a Mac that can't get their sims 3 to install even with the 64 bit & metal part added? I need reassurance that I'm not the only one suffering.

Did someone mention a drink? Should we open a virtual bar somewhere and just reminiscing over the Sims 3 while waiting for it to appear and work? lol

@nelesimscreate If you downloaded The Sims 3 from Origin, you should find The Sims 3 folder under Electronic Arts in your documents. I'm not sure where else the folder could be, I tried looking for it in the search bar and it does show up.
