@robdot I had that same issue at first, what I did was uninstall the game. Then deleted everything that had sims 3 on my mac, so the folders, applications, EVERYTHING. I think it was because I had the old 32 bit on my imac before it was incompatible. Once I got rid of everything, I redownloaded through origin and it got past the launcher. But then I now have the error that everyone else has with the "re install game" thing.
