@andrewthesimmerThis makes sense because usually when you download Sims 3 from Origin (from what I remember) you get a code to use to verify. When I downloaded the 64 bit that doesn't work, I never got a code to copy and paste.

Hi everyone! I "repaired" the game and it now says "Play" instead of "finalizing" when I have the game opened up. I'll update if this worked.

No. What he’s likely referring to is an internal feature of MacOS to “verify” whether an application is properly “signed” before it can be run.

i had the same thing didn't work, however going into game properties i noticed that some of the expansions are stuck on finalizing still with no way to fix it. It's been sitting like that for an hour now

@bpnovak7 I have bought a few games through Steam. So far only one of them (Diesel stuff) has shown up. I think the rest will be added soon!
