@paytolones Me too, I am trying not to get too hopeful but it's haaaaard!!! Yes, I still don't have all the expansions and none of the packs, but we are getting there.

I hope that's actually true!!! So exciting Standard smile I'm not seeing that on my origin, but I have never bought World Adventures so that's probably why it's not showing up in my library.

@realfabiomello I don’t know if it’s because I grew up with The Sims 3 but I feel so attached to that game it brings back a lot of memories from my childhood and like you said ; it’s our baby!!

Hi Simmers!

EDIT: "SURPRISE!"

Looks like there's a date in your Origin clients! HOW EXCITING IS THIS, AMIRIGHT?

Yes THAT DATE IS CORRECT! We're hoping to get this beastie onto your hard drives this Wednesday, October 28! Who needs All-Hallows-Eve parties anyway (which - hey, we're not supposed to go to parties right now anyway)?

While I have your attention - thank you, everyone, for all of your appreciative posts over the last few days. I promise you they're not necessary. We think this game is awesome too and we're really thrilled to be able to get it back onto your Macs. What we're looking forward to the most is you being able to download it and play again.

Happy simming (in a few days), yo! Stay safe out there.

(Also! No, Dec 22, Festivus Eve, wasn't a hint. I was just trying to illustrate that you saw part of the process that is usually hidden from view. I probably should have gone with my original analogy about how one isn't supposed to see how the sausage gets made. This seemed better at the time.)

@MaxisJoe Thankyou so much!! But I have a question about limited edition packs and stuff packs. Since we can't see them on origin yet, will they come out on the release date, or will they come out later. Either way, very excited!

Long time lurker on this thread - incredibly excited to hear it is nearly here!!

Nothing in my Origin yet, but we'll get there.

I was going to write a sappy thank you, but I won't now that @MaxisJoe says we shouldn't.

I'll just say: The Sims inspired me to pursue a career as a UX designer. This specific game was always my favorite, though I haven't had a chance to play it in years.

Now in my late twenties, I am excited to dive back into my memories - when I have an hour to spare - which I tend to have more of in these unprecedented times.

This Friday I will be wearing a costume for my virtual UX team Halloween party and I might just play some Sims Supernatural after that's over.

Stay safe and patient, everyone!
