sims won’t open

hello !
My game won’t start and it will say that a mod or cc is corrupted, so I remove it but each time I start the game, a new file is found corrupted. I thought they had been broken by the update but I started a new package and cc that worked before in my old package (even after updating my game) is not working anymore ??

i really don’t know what’s causing the issue and I’m running out if ideas to resolve it, I even tried using another pc and it’s still not working so I guess the sims don’t want me to play ;-;

if someone know how to solve this problem please help I’m really desperate ;-;

@Bluebellflora i actually solved the problem by te downloading every corrupted cc ! I don’t know what happened the first time I downloaded them but it’s working now !

Have you checking updates or repair the game with Origin without mods ?

@AM1500 my game is updated and I tried repairing it with my mods still but I’m gonna try without them and see !

@seishir0_0, this problem can be fixed with a reset of the game or a clear cache files.

@AM1500 I did clear the cache files yesterday and and I just reset the game but it’s still not working

Have you created a symlink to store your Sims 4 folder onto an external drive?

I only asked because this is an error message users get when not having properly formatted the external drive.

Can you move your whole Sims 4 folder to the desktop, launch the game, enable Mods then quit. In the newly created Sims 4 folder move one piece of CC into the Mods folder then launch the game and see if you still get the error message. Don't move anything else, no saves, nothing.
