How long does it take for the SIMS 4 to download from Orgin onto the MacBooks? I recently just bought the game and it seems to be taking longer than it should. I was wondering if anyone else has had the same issue for the Macs.

With Origin open click on Origin in the menu bar then Preferences > Advanced scroll down a bit and enable Safe Mode Downloading.

If you are running antivirus or have a 3rd party firewall make sure they are not restricting Origin's connection. If you are using a VPN, don't.

You could also try flushing the DNS if none of the above work - http://help.ea.com/en/article/connection-troubleshooting-advanced-mac/
