sims 4 will not launch on my Mac

So for some reason, my sims will not open and it has been like this for about 4 months and I can't figure it out. It came out of the blue like I was playing my sims the one day and then just stopped opening. Im using my Macbook air to play but its just not working.Ive tried signing out, tried clearing the cache but the folder wasn't there, but im so confused as to why it stopped.

Please go into Documents > Electronic Arts and move the Sims 4 folder to the desktop. Now try to launch your game, does it work?

if it is my mods, how do i figure out which mod is causing my game to crash?

By moving them all out of the Mods folder, deleting the localthumbcache file in the Sims 4 folder, then moving the mods back into the Mods folder in small batches, testing your game after adding each batch to see if it is still working. When it stops working you know you have an incompatible mod(s) in that last added batch. Move them out and test one by one.

not for me, there is no folder like that

If there is no Sims 4 folder in the Electronic Arts folder then where have you put your Mods? Mods go in the Mods folder within the Sims 4 folder.

like i have that folder the thing i dont have is the localthumbcache which im missing, i have the mods folder and such but no the localthumbcache

ive found it and deleted it now, will mods like mc command centre be the ones affecting the game to crash?
