32-bit games like Spore and SimCity are not compatible with Catalina. The Sims 4 is compatible. If your Mac supports Metal you can play the current version of the game. If it does not you will be prompted to download the Legacy Edition in addition to the normal game download. Which exact model Mac do you have?
