sims 4 mac insufficient storage

Hi, so after months of not playing the sims,

ive decided to redownload the sims 4. however my origin is now saying that i have insufficient disk space, even though i have 60GB of free storage space, ive tried resetting, completely uninstalling origin, i just want to play the sims 

please help
