sims 4 game freezes

This never happened before my sims 4 game started freezing out of no where , I play for like a couple seconds then it’s just freezes showing a loading thing on my mouse. I updated all my mods and repaired my game and tried to update my game but it was all up to date. Yes I have mods and custom content but this never happened before. It happens in gameplay and on cas.

I have a IMAC 2019 with tons of storage.

Follow these steps to launch a new clean game - https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-Mac/READ-FIRST-Sims-4-Mac-Help-Guides-and-Troubleshooting... do not move over any of your existing saves, mods etc. until you have fully tested the problem in a new game with a clean folder.
