sims 4 frozen

My sims 4 have been completely frozen for the last 5-6 days or so. I tried one day to save the game and then ending it but it went really slow and now it has been stuck like that for days. It only says "saving" on the screen, I can't restart my MacBook either. Do someone know what to do?

Hold down the power button for around 10 seconds to force it to turn off. After restarting your Mac repair the game in Origin before restarting it.
