sims 4 Mac June 2020 didn't update or load

starting may 30th, origin won't get past a blank screen after I log in. I updated origin, did all of the suggested troubleshooting without success. the sims now bounces in the dock and quits. I created a new user as administrator in system preferences, and logged in. same problems. help me please.

Did you run the Origin reset tool? https://help.ea.com/en-gb/help/origin/origin/how-to-reset-origin-on-mac/

@Bluebellflora yes - three times, and I also dragged the origin app into trash, emptied it, and restarted my imac. I downloaded the latest version of origin too, but nothing has helped.

Ok. Could you try the other suggestions in this Origin/Mac help thread - https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-Mac/READ-FIRST-Origin-Troubleshooting-and-Information/m-p... if none of those fix it disable any antivirus you have running and try.

I tried all of them, and I don't have an antivirus app on my iMac. I've had this imac less than a month, and I updated everything before I installed origin and the sims 4.

it's really frustrating to get a blank screen after I log into origin, if I can log in at all. sometimes I can't connect to the server at all.
