Hi @TMCedez,
I'm sorry to read you are having issues to play your game I recommend you to install the game through Origin instead of your DVD, that might help with your issue
You would need to redeem your code in your EA Account, uninstall the disc version of the game from your Mac and then use the Origin Client to download the game.
Let us know if you have any questions!

I own The Sims 3 no other wording under it, so which sims would i be clicking to download again through origin? I believe all these are expansions?

Hi @TMCedez,
Are you looking for it in your Game Library? You should only see your registered games in there. In this case, if you only own The Sims 3, that's the only one you should have in your Game Library:

Yes...?

Ok @TMCedez, could you tell me which packs are you having this issue with?
April 2017
The sims Unleashed expansion pack
The sims superstar
and the sims vacations

Oh, I understand, @TMCedez. However, those packs are not for The Sims 3 but for The Sims 1, and being older, can't be redeemed nor installed through Origin.
Those can only be installed using your DVDs.
