i've had sims 3 since 2015 but i havent played it in 2 years, but i decided i just wanted to play and i had to reinstall the base game and all of my expansion packs. when i did that some got stuck on finalizing. but before i reinstalled the expansion packs the base game worked on its own. (i have a mac) so i searched it up and thought late night was my problem, i did everything i found on the internet. i uninstalled and reinstalled the base game and the expansion packs. i reset origin, i went into the files and copy and pasted and everything. but nothing seems to work. i got rid of the finalizing problem and now its saying "unknown error"
