@spookyorca The error itself is an access violation, something that happens here and there in any version of Sims 3; from the error reports, the 64-bit version is unfortunately no different. The question is why it happens. Do you notice anything on-screen at the time? Do the crashes happen at the same time of day, for example at 5 am when plants are supposed to mature or at 8 am when sims might be going to work?
If you're playing on the same Mac as the one you listed in October, it may help to turn lighting and tree detail down to the minimum settings. It's made a difference for some other players using Intel graphics chips.
Please also let me know what world(s) you're playing in, which packs you've installed, and whether you've installed mods or custom content.
