pitch black sims

hey guys. i havent played the sims 4 for a while and i went back on it today to play on my 2020 macbook pro and i made a sim and her toddler daughter easily in cas. i then go into gameplay and my young adult sim is pitch black, no texture or anything. it isnt letting me attach an image.

i do play with cc and mods.

Move out the Mods folder, trash the localthumbcache.package file and try again - does it still happen?

sorry for the very late response.

nope. i did that and it is still the same. i have only seen it happen on one particular save i made.

could it be because my graphics are too high?

If it only affects one save then I wouldn't have thought so. I can test the save in my game if you upload it to a file sharing site and give me the link

Upload the save it happens in to a file sharing site like Google Drive or similar and put the link in a post here or PM me with it, whatever you prefer.

Launch the game and click on load game then hover over one of the households to see the file path:
