my sims 4 game won't stop crashing

the game will open through origin, but when it gets to the "The Sims 4" opening screen it stays like that for about five minutes then crashes. it's been happening for about a day and a half now, and i've restarted both origin and my computer (mac by the way, if that helps anyone). i'm currently repairing the game through origin but as it takes a while, i wanted to know if anyone has had this problem before, and if there are quicker options.

thank for the suggestion, but i was looking on some other threads i found and realized it was probably my custom content, so i removed a bunch and it worked just fine! thanks anyway.

If repairing doesn't work could you please disable Origin in-game and see if that helps.
