my gameplay is all gone and my sims are too :(

So I was trying to transfer back to my old ICloud account on my mac and it was backing up the stuff on the account but i accidentally hit a button, idk what it exactly said, but it said something like "stop updating & continue" and i didn't think anything of it but later when i went into The Sims 4, all of my worlds were gone and i went into the game like it was the first time. i have all of my packs but my saved games and everything are gone. pls help (

Have you checked in your iCloud folders? Maybe you have them backed up there still somewhere. Once you find them they should be in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4.
