my entire mods folder and data was deleted

Can someone help me???? I downloaded new CC and when I tried to play it said that the file was corrupted. So, I went and deleted the corrupt file only. Then I tried to play again and it didn't work so I went on a forum thread for someone who had the same issue as me. I followed the instructions and it led to my mods and all other data being deleted. They told me to move my sims folder to my desktop and the back again then repair sims. So I did that but then it just deleted everything. Now when I go on sims none of my data or CC is there and I don't know how to get it back. I play on mac. Someone help me quick!!!! Thank you.

Please open Terminal and copy and paste the following search command then hit Enter/Return:

find ~ -type d -name "*The Sims 4*" 2>/dev/null

After a little while it will return the results of the search. Please copy and paste the results in a post here.
