@ILoveWellYou  For the "finalizing" issue, please run the Origin reset tool for macOS:

https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/origin/origin/how-to-reset-origin-on-mac/

For the Late Night issues that you're definitely going to have, please apply two workarounds.  The first is to create an alias (icon) for LN in Applications\The Sims 3, alongside the alias for the base game.

The second is to copy a folder from Late Night into the folder for your newest pack by the date EA released it.  (That would be Seasons if you don't have any other packs.)  The video in this post shows where to find the folder and how to copy it over:

If you still get the unknown error, please list the full specs of your Mac, including the device ID of your graphics card.  Here's how to find that info:

And please also list the other packs, if any, you've installed, and any you'd like to install but haven't yet.

I don't work for EA. I'm just trying to help fellow players with their games.

Thank you so much that's fixed everything, the screens too small and not great graphics on the actual game but I'll play around with settings
