I was able to play Sims 4 Legacy since several months (after a lot of weird manipulations...) But now Origin ask me to update the Sims game. I click updates, it takes only a few seconds, then it says The game is up to date, click on Close, but it stil asking for an update. The worst is that I cannot play anymore, I have this message again:
Unable to start: Initialization error at start up.[135dec40:90f690cf:00000075:495f32a0] I have tried all steps suggested in this forum (delete origin, reinstall it, repair the game, etc... stil does not work.
The way EA is treating owners of older mac is not acceptable...
Can someone have a solution??
Thank you

Even though the game appears to update, the LE doesn't receive any updates. Are you sure you are running the Legacy Edition? Could you attach the Config.log file from the Sims 4 folder to a post here.

I think so. If I go to to Additional Content (from Origin), then Legacy status is Installed, I click on Play and it requiers the update.
Where is the config.log file? I Cannot find it.
Thank you

I tried reparing the game several times, tried it again just now, didn't help. System, Origin and Sims are in Canadian French.

didn't work; I switched the system langage to English too, to be sure, still same problem. Here is what I found out:
- When Origin is connected: I'm stuck in the Update loop. Ask to update, run the update, then ask for udtate again
- When Origin is in the OffLine mode, I have the message Unable to start: Initialization error at start up.[135dec40:90f690cf:00000075:495f32a0]
