hi all,
i have the new 2020 macbook pro with 250gb (194.39gb remaining) and with the standard base model processor, etc. i have been playing the sims4 for a while on my microsoft devices, however my microsoft device stopped working properly and lost a lot of storage. i was just wondering is my macbook pro suitable to play the sims on? i use my macbook for school so i want to make sure i am capable of doing what i need at school without the sims slowing down my device. several of my friends had the sims on their macbooks and said it slowed it down dramatically so i want to hear from people who have a better understanding if it is worth it.
thanks heaps

The game will not slow down your Mac when you're not playing it but it will if you try and play the game and do a bunch of other stuff at the same time. Please can you provide more information about your Mac. Instructions on how to do so and what to provide here - http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-Mac/READ-FIRST-Sims-4-Mac-Help-Guides-and-Troubleshooting/m-p/4612...

i have followed your instructions and this is what i have.
macOS Catalina
version 10.15.4
macbook pro (13-inch, 2020)
processor: 1.4GHz Quad-Core Intel i5
memory: 8 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3
graphics: Intel Iris Plus Graphics 645 1536 MB
hopefully i got everything you need. i just want to know if its worth getting the sims on here and if the game will run well and not take up too much space because i need to do all my schoolwork on here as well and i am considering purchasing more sims expansions and stuff.
thanks
