game not launching after update

I updated my game today (18 nov 2020) for the patch when my game crashed 10-20 mins in a few days ago, however now after this update my game won't load at all, I can only get past create a sim, not actual game play. I play on a Mac

I have uninstalled my mods and cc and its still not working

Do you have infinite loading screens? Please repair the game in Origin.

Thanks for responding! I have tried to repair it in origin however it is greyed out and its not letting me click repair in origin
