error code 22 for Sims 4

I'm having problems with saving my Sims 4 Games. I keep getting error code 22. I tried everything listed on this blog but I'm still having problems. I should let you know i have a mac.  I tried the game on a pc and i don't get the error message

If you move your Sims 4 folder from Documents > Electronic Arts to the desktop and play a new clean game then save it, does it still happen?

no it don't happen so I just deleted all the old saved games and just started all over

The issue can sometimes be related to the Scratch folder in your Saves folder so you could try your old Saves folder and delete a Scratch folder if there is one in there
