electronic arts folder missing.

everywhere i look, my electronics arts sims 4 folder is nowhere to be found. i've looked far and wide for hours, i've read every thread. nothing has worked. my sims game freezes upon startup. i've uninstalled, reinstalled, and repaired the game. i've also uninstalled and reinstalled origin. can someone please help me? thank you.

Have you ever managed to load the game successfully? The Sims 4 folder is created when you successfully launch the game and should be in Macintosh HD⁩ ▸ ⁨Users⁩ ▸ ⁨[Your User Account] ▸ ⁨Documents⁩ ▸ ⁨Electronic Arts⁩ ▸ ⁨The Sims 4⁩

no i have not been able to get the game to load, i’ve searches in documents, downloads, etc. no folder is there.

brief story on how this occurred:

ive had the game since january, downloaded all types of CCs and mods onto it. one day i get on my computer excited to play like always, the game freezes and that made an alert go off in my head, i quit the game and make sure it’s no mods interfering with it. i check for the folder, it’s not there anymore. i don’t know what to do.

@Bluebellflora yes, i’ve checked it. it has always been turned off.

If you have not managed to load the game since reinstalling that would explain why you have no Sims 4 folder. Do you have any backups, manual or Time Machine, that you can recover the folder from?

As for getting your game to load, can you disable Origin in-game and see if that helps - https://bluebellflora.com/2017/12/23/disable-origin-in-game/

How did you get on with disabling Origin in-game?

@Bluebellflora i’ve disabled it and it still freezes. this seems to be hopeless for me, thank you for helping out. i really do appreciate it.
