changed resolution for my game, can't enter

I changed my resolution to high (not even ultra) and now my sims game won't load, freezing on "The sims 4" logo. I can't access the main menu to change it and I've already left it sitting for a few hours waiting for it to load. (Im using the mac version too) How can I solve this?

Go into Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 and trash the Options.ini file. This will reset your game options to the default setting.
