Can you please show the contents of those folders within the Mods folder? And if they contain folders show those too?

Ok. And you definitely have CC and Mods enabled?

Can you please move out all the CC so that only the Resource.cfg file is in your Mods folder. Now add in the EbonixChunkysimsCurlyFadeConverison.package item and launch your game with CC enabled. Does that one item show up? I have just tested that one piece myself and it showed up fine.

Ok... Let's start again. Firstly, can you confirm which version of macOS you are running? And that you definitely don't have iCloud Drive enabled?

Go into your Documents folder then the Electronic Arts folder. Move the whole Sims 4 folder to your desktop. Next, follow the steps for a super repair:

  1. In your Applications folder right click on the Sims 4 app and select Show Package Contents.
  2. Navigate to Contents > Mac OS.
  3. Right click on The Sims 4 and select Move to Trash. Don't drag the file as it will only move an alias and leave the original in place. If there is another file in the folder, The Sims 4.par, leave it alone.
  4. Now open Origin, click on The Sims 4 in your Games Library and click on Download.

Now launch your game, it will be like new with no prior saves/CC etc. Once it's loaded quit it. Now go into Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 and put ONE item of CC into the folder. Load your game and see if it works.

Do you have any antivirus running? If so, quit it. Do you run any 'clean up' apps? If so get rid of them and reinstall your OS.

I am running version 10.13.3 and my iCloud Drive is completely empty. I have no Mac cleaners on my laptop.

And you tried my suggestion of the super repair? Next step - create a new user account on your Mac and try to play with CC in that account.

I created a new user account but the Sims 4 folder is not showing up in the documents area anymore. I followed all the steps. In my original user account the folder is still there but not on the new one.
